IBM uses ShopFactory to teach e-Commerce
IBM's first Business Solution Center in Southeast Asia selects ShopFactory to introduce SME's to e-Commerce.
July 20, 2002. The IBM Business Solution Center in Singapore, IBM's first in the region, is set up to provide small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) the platform to view live e-business and traditional business solutions in addition to providing a hands-on experience prior to them investing in the software and hardware.
Small business owners are introduced to and taught the "Best of Breed" products in the different fields affecting them, such as QuickBooks for accounting, ACT! For contact management and ShopFactory to easily create and maintain their own Internet shops.

e-Commerce courses are held every Wednesday at 4.30pm at the IBM / Solarsys Microsystems Pte Ltd Business Solution Center in Singapore. Courses are designed to introduce merchants to e-Commerce based on the ShopFactory e-Commerce Guide which can be found on the ShopFactory website. To teach hands on experience the center uses a version of ShopFactory Professional.
