Exciting developments for ShopFactory Total Care Services — Powered by Santu

It will not affect any current level of services you already have under ShopFactory Total Care or GlobeCharge branding and no adjustments will be required to any current ShopFactory shops as part of this "rebranding".

Here is a short outline of some of the new ShopFactory Total Care services ”Powered by Santu”:

Express Checkout Function

Merchants will now be able to have an Express Checkout Account. This new facility will allow your customers to sign-up for their own Express Account on your shop so they can: create a login account to track prior orders, view updates on their orders and use their Express Checkout for products they previously purchased - with less checkout steps required! We’ll be introducing some additional new features in the near future as well.

Of course, your visitors will still be able to checkout without having to sign up for an account on your store. They will now have both options!

With the new enhancements, customers will now be able to track their “Order Status” online!

It works perfectly on all devices – making you even more ready for the mobile world we are in today.

When you, as the merchant, update an order status – your customer will receive an automatic update notice via email where a link to "Track Order Status" can be clicked and this will open the online order details with the following information: "Payment Status + Comments" and "Shipping Status + Shipping Provider URL + Tracking URL + Comments." - They receive a notice that an order has “Shipped today - Tracking Number: 987654321, with a link to the courier’s website tracking.”

Our studies show communicating order status updates increases customer satisfaction. This new feature will also eliminate the extra work you did traditionally by automating the information feed to your customer as soon as you update their order status details.

Better Mobile Checkout

The new ShopFactory Total Care services – “Powered by Santu” services will provide an enhanced mobile checkout feature for ShopFactory user sites. When a visitor enters the cart checkout, they will automatically be switched to a mobile checkout platform which is easier to use on mobile devices.

Responsive Designs for mobile devices compatibility

With increasing use in mobile devices by web visitors, responsive web design is an important tool to ensure all visitors to your site have the best shopping experience. ShopFactory will be releasing a new ShopFactory version with “Responsive” web design layout for mobile device compatibility in the near future. When a visitor enters your main site on a mobile device – they will automatically be displayed the mobile responsive design of your site.

When you create your main ShopFactory website, you don’t need to do anything. You simply work in ShopFactory and publish your site as you normally do. ShopFactory takes care of the rest. It’s that easy!
